To meet the demands of an evolving agricultural field in which jobs require advanced training, the 农业 Program at Black Hawk College 东校区 offers a variety of career and transfer programs. These programs include study in the areas of Agribusiness Management, 农业 Mechanics, 农业 Production Technology, 农业 Transfer, Horse Science Technology, Equestrian Science and Veterinary Technology.
With its strong emphasis on education for employment preparation, the 农业 Program offers students opportunities for hands-on training with businesses in the local area, across the state, and throughout the nation. 学生 receive academic credit for their work and gain valuable information and insight into on-the-job demands.
Other activities include award-winning judging teams in the areas of livestock, 马, crops and soils. Black Hawk College also has a championship Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Team.
